Hello All,
Please be advised that the 4th quarter rent will be waived due to Hurricane Ian.
If you have already sent in a check but it has not been cashed, it will be discarded. If your rent has already been cashed, then you can either get a refund at your request or we can put that amount towards your January rent.
Please let us know what you would like to do by emailing periwinklepark@aol.com or calling (239) 472-1433.
Thank you.
Bless you all. Hope everyone at your home is safe and healthy.
I have a boat for Saturday tomorrow and have room for 4 more if anyone wants to share expense. Call me 717-515-4106
*Notice to All Residents
Good afternoon all:
We are aware and sympathetic to the fact that nobody knows what their trailers look like due to the conditions in our park and the fact that we are on foot with no vehicles it is impossible to provide videos or pictures of the park at this time.
We are actively purchasing new equipment and vehicles. The next hurdle we have to overcome is actually getting the equipment and vehicles on the Island and into our park.
We are hopeful to have a solution by the end of next week.
Residents and representatives are allowed to come to the Island and enter Periwinkle Park for the purpose of taking pictures and cleaning up debris from their lots. This may be a quicker method for individuals to get photos of their units.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding,
Liz
Good afternoon all:
Please be advised the new address for mail pick up is:
14080 Jetport Loop, Fort Myers, FL 33913
Also, all residents must send in their own forwarding info with the post office, Please know voter ballots are unable to be forwarded.
Best regards,
Liz
Good afternoon, everyone:
We have begun the process of shutting off the water valves and electric disconnects to all the units. We have shut water and electric on streets 1-6 E and W.
We are also making headway on securing a barge to bring equipment over to assist us in this process. We will continue with this process until we are complete. With equipment in the park, we can start moving and removing debris and vegetation so we can initiate repairs in some places around some units that we can't get to yet.
Thank you for your continued patience as we move forward slowly but surely.
Best regards,
David Muench
Does the park plan to send pics of our units so we have an idea of what we will be dealing with when we can get there. Even just the outside pic will be helpful. Thanks for all you are doing to help our park! Connie Toland 110B
Hello Connie,
Please, see the most recent post for updates regarding photos of units.
Thank you.
*Notice to All Residents
Hello All,
We appreciate your patience during this time. We have all had our lives turned upside down by Hurricane Ian, but our island and community is stronger than the storm!
Presently, we are working to restore water and electricity to the park among other items to ensure safety and a visible path forward.
We will continue to send our residents updates and next steps via email and the Online Message Board.
In an effort to respect your privacy, we will not be supplying photos of each residence/unit. We encourage all residents to take those pictures or have someone come and take them on your behalf. If you need instructions to acquire hurricane re-entry passes for yourself or someone else, please see the below information, which is also available under the 'Notices from the City of Sanibel' section of this Online Message Board:
WANT TO GO TO SANIBEL?
Resident Access: Residential Hurricane Reentry Pass or valid ID with Sanibel address.
Property Owner Access: Hurricane Reentry Pass with valid ID
Contractor access: Commercial Hurricane Reentry Pass with valid ID
Insurance Adjuster Access: Insurance Adjuster Reentry Pass with valid ID
Please, continue to remain patient. We are looking to address the issues at hand as well as answer any of your questions or concerns. We thank you for your continued support.

If you plan to either rebuild, are unsure, or have already decided that you will be demolishing regardless of the 50% damage mentioned in previous emails. Please let us know so we know what's going on at the park.
Thank you so much,
